Event Description:
Bras Across the Water Fundraiser, sponsored by Freedom Boat Club, will be held at the Harbourgate Marina. The purpose of the event is to bring support to breast cancer awareness month and to raise money for the American Cancer Society's signature event, Relay For Life, in 2012.
Bands, games, vendors, a balloon release and a BBQ Cook-Off will be part of the festivities. All proceeds from the event will go to the American Cancer Society.
Anyone interested in donating bras may drop them off at the following locations: Freedom Boat Club, Harbourgate Marina, Filet's Restaurant & Cumulus Radio. Call Karen Berry at Freedom Boat Club, 843-339-8711, for more drop off locations after October 1st.
