Topics will include event and meeting design and objectives, program planning, food and beverage catering, and vendors and other resources and organizations available to assist with coordination of major events. This course will also provide information for students interested in starting their own small business in planning special events such as weddings, conferences, or other events. Class schedule will vary depending on current events/ fieldtrips, this will be discussed the first night of class.
