Event Description:
This observation is to instill in the public a sense of wonderment and curiosity
about our Moon.  A Special star show in the Planetarium's state-of-the-art Sky Theater highlights the Moon as well as other objects in the local night sky.  Includes a special video honoring Neil Armstrong, the first person to walk on the Moon as commander of the Apollo 11 spacecraft that landed on the Moon on July 20, 1969.  Weather permitting, you will be able to step outside and gaze at the Moon using the planetarium's telescopes.  Amateur astronomer Tavi Greiner will answer questions about taking pictures of the Moon.
