How familiar are you with the laws and regulations that affect coastal living? Come learn about the laws and associated regulations that govern our actions on and interactions with the ocean and coast. Learn about the history of these laws, from the 1899 Rivers and Harbors Act to modern legislation that established the Coastal Zone Management structure. You will also learn about the laws and regulations themselves -- how to research them and which agencies enforce them.

This program will be presented at 11:00 AM at the Museum of Coastal Carolina on Saturday, January 26 by Museum educator Edward Ovsenik.
