Museum volunteer Roy Revis will provide a brief description of the history of shells, what animals create them, and some of the more common shells found along our North Carolina beaches. Many samples will be available for visitors to observe and touch and children’s activities include making shell tracings, coloring sheets, and a ‘shell sleuth’ treasure hunt to identify shells on display at the Museum of Coastal Carolina. The program will begin at 11:00 AM at the Museum.
