Event Description:
The Little RiverUnitedMethodistChurch(LRUMC) in partnership with the North Strand Helping Hand (NSHH) will jointly gather healthy food for the hungry in HorryCounty. There will be a Carolinabarbeque lunch, gospel & country music, festive clowns, children's games with a bounce slide, a youth-sponsored car wash, and a garden railroad. Participants are asked to bring at least two healthy non-perishable food items for the NSHH shelves. Examples of these items include dried fruits, granola bars, lower sodium soups, canned tuna packed in water, whole grain pasta, trail mix, fruit in light syrup, and canned vegetables with lower sodium.
