Event Description:
Safely view the Transit of Venus over the sun, an event that will not take place again for over 100 years.  The Planetarium's solar telescope will make it possible for you to view this spectacular and rare event as Henry Steffens, Professor Emeritus of History at the University of Vermont discusses the historical significance of the transit of Venus.  There will also be a simulation of the transit of Venus inside the Planetarium's SciDome Sky Theater.  There will also be cake available to celebrate the Ingram Planetarium's 10th Anniversary.
