Event Description:
Charter NEX Films is a blown film manufacturer, building a new 140,000-square-foot facility in Richland County in the Carolina Pines Industrial Park (Blythewood area). The company is looking for both subcontractors for construction, and suppliers for on-going operations. Register to attend. Seating is limited!
CONSTRUCTION
Hoffman Planning, Design and Construction, Inc. is the construction project manager. Gain information about the construction project, including current status, projected schedule and the pre-qualification process. Construction interests include: landscaping, overhead doors and dock equipment, glass (doors and windows), finishes (doors, frames, hardware, carpentry, drywall, ACT, flooring, millwork), fencing, flagpoles, fire extinguishers, lockers, toilet partition and bathroom accessories.
OPERATIONS
Receive information on Charter NEX Films supplier requirements, qualifications, process and timelines. Company representatives will be on hand to explain a variety of needs, including: process equipment setting, piping, electrical (need experience with blown film process equipment), utilities equipment setting, piping, electrical (air compressors and process water chillers), plastic pellet silos (and setting), warehouse racking and computer controlled compact racking, central vacuum cleaning system, in-floor scales, stretch-wrappers, large roll manipulators, office equipment, audio visual equipment, signage, and food vending (market concept). Also included are: paging system, door access controls, IT-phone system, cabling, technical services, and security cameras.
